A Summer to Remember is Coming!
Something big is on the horizon at barrier-free Camp For All and we can’t wait to share it with you!
This summer, we’ll be welcoming our 200,000th camper through our gates. That’s 200,000 smiles, adventures, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable moments since we first opened in 1998. And this year? We’re ready to make the celebration bigger, brighter, and more joyful than ever.
So, if you’re planning to visit Camp this summer… you might just be part of history!
From 1998 to Now:
A Journey of Joy
What started as a dream back in 1998 – sparked by the vision and passion of our three founders, Dr. Paul Gerson, Dr. Robert Zeller, and Larry Neuhaus – has grown into something truly special. Year after year, campers of all ages and abilities have come to Camp For All Burton to try new things, discover confidence, and just be themselves in a place built for belonging.
We’ve watched kids conquer challenges, adults rediscover independence, and families share moments they never thought possible. And through it all, the magic of Camp For All just keeps growing.
200,000 Campers… and Counting!
200,000 campers are much more than a number… it’s a celebration of every story, laugh around the campfire, splash in the pool, and cheer at the top of a zipline.
And we’re not stopping here. With Camp For All Chappell Hill expected to open in summer 2027, we’re getting ready to transform even more campers’ lives. Our two barrier-free Camps in Texas will create even more joy, independence, and connection. We’re already looking ahead to the next 200,000 campers… and beyond!

We’re inviting our Camp For All family – campers, families, donors, Partners, volunteers, staff, supporters, everyone – to send us short videos celebrating this awesome achievement. You can share what Camp For All means to you, recognize the people who made your experiences possible, or just send a big cheer as we count down to 200,000 campers and beyond.
To participate, simply record your video (with a vertical orientation) and text it to the Camp For All Communications Manager at 713-979-6539. Please include your first and last name, your location (city/town and state), and a brief description of your connection to Camp For All. We may feature your message as part of our celebration as we commemorate this amazing milestone together.
